A new amazing spiraling treetop walkway in Denmark has opened up which gives visitors a unique and breathtaking view of the Gisselfeld Klosters Skove forest.
The architects from EFFECT designed this new visual perspective in Gisselfeld Klosters Skove forest, which is very near to Copenhagen in Denmark.
This treetop walkway stands at 45-meters high and allows people to climb to 140 meters above sea level to enjoy the beautiful views of the Danish forest in a different innovative way. On a clear sunny day, visitors to the spiraling treetop walkway in Denmark should be able to see about 50 kilometers in each direction and even make out tall buildings in Copenhagen.
This new experience gives the nature lover a birds eye view of the forest where any explorer can immerse themselves and feel part of the forest in a unique new way. The work from the bottom to the top and back again is rough 3.2 Kilometers
On it`s opening day 2,500 people turned up to visit the walkway. Since then it has won numerous awards, including the German Design Council Award, the 2017 ICONIC Award in the Visionary Architecture category, and South Coast Denmark’s Best Tourism Initiative in 2018.

The walkway has a natural theme and is made from weathered steel and oak from the local forest so that it can blend in to it`s natural surroundings.
The design was created by the architects of EFFEKT as part of an adventure park which offers the visitors the opportunity to enjoy of different activities within the forest as treetop walks, climbing areas and also zip lines.
